Open data
LotLine uses 136 operating data centers and crypto mines from the IM3 Open Source Data Center Atlas by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, which is built from OpenStreetMap. These are sites the main LotLine project list (Compute Atlas) doesn't have. LotLine trimmed them to the fields it shows and matched them to counties.
That data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License (ODbL 1.0). As the license asks, here is LotLine's copy, free to download and reuse under the same license:
- lotline-osm-data-centers.csv (spreadsheet)
- lotline-osm-data-centers.geojson (map file)
Fields: id, name, type (data center or crypto mine), status, latitude, longitude, county, city, state, mapped square feet, and the date of the source data (Feb. 9, 2026). Power size isn't on record for these sites.
This page covers only that OpenStreetMap-based data. LotLine's other data comes from public sources listed in the extension under Sources, each under its own terms.
